HYDRAULIC LIFT AND CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
DIAL
The mid-mount mower is easily raised and lowered hydraulically,
while cutting height is adjusted quickly with just a twist of the
height adjustment dial. Both controls are within easy reach from
the driver's seat.
When it comes to routine maintenance, you'll do it faster
and with no strain or hassle with the ZG's built-in mower
lift. Simply turn the crank and watch the front-end lift up.
For safety, the crank won't turn unless the parking brake
has been activated.
10-GAUGE HEAVY DUTY DECK
Ideal for heavy-duty operation, the 48" (ZG20) and 54"
(ZG23) mower decks with a 5" deep deck design, produce a professional
cut and discharge.
Our easy-to-attach/detach mulching system produces mulch
that falls between blades of standing grass, leaving an immaculate
finish.
TRANSMISSION
Superior durability of the entire driveline was of utmost importance
when we decided to incorporate an integral-type, twin hydrostatic
transmission as part of the ZG-Series. The hermetically sealed structure
(hydrostat and final drive) requires no maintenance except for an
occasional fluid change. And no belt replacement is necessary.
With operator safety in mind, we've designed a safety start
system that will only allow the engine to be started when
the operator is seated, the parking brake engaged, the PTO
is in neutral and the neutral lock is engaged. If, at any
time while the engine is running you leave your seat, the
engine will automatically shut down. So when the unexpected
happens, you'll be protected.
EASY ACCESS CONTROL PANEL
For convenience, the operator's control panel with throttle, PTO
lever, fuel gauge, hour meter, and start switch are all located
to the right of the operator, within easy reach.
The Kubota ZG zero-turn mower is equipped with a reliable,
smooth-running engine that's been robustly crafted to meet
commercial standards. The gas-powered engine utilizes a V-twin
design, an efficient outside air intake system, and offers
you a choice of 20 or 23 horsepower output.
FULL OPEN HOOD
For enhanced maintenance, the full-open hood provides easier access
to the engine and it's vital components.
To reduce down time, the ZD-Series is equipped with a wear-resistant,
wet-type, multi-disk PTO clutch that allows you to work longer,
but not harder. With unsurpassed durability, it will smoothly
transfer power with absolute efficiency. For safety, the PTO
clutch is also equipped with an internal brake, which can
stop the mower blades just seconds after disengagement.
